The Urban Plains’ centerpiece is the magnificent 25-acre Brandt Park. The combination of open green space, nearly one-half mile body of water and the new amenities (as shown on the detailed site plan) will truly make this a park like no other. Amenities include a boardwalk, sculpture, amphitheater and areas for activity as well as relaxation. Urban Plains has over five miles of bike paths to connect with the community coming from North, South, East and West. The first phase of the Scheels Arena was completed in November 2008, just in time for the main rink to start hosting the USHL expansion franchise – the Fargo Force, led by head coach John Marks. The rink seats 5,000 including 40 suites and 250 club seats.
